i can’t say i’m sad to be back home, the freezing rain and grey skies of a Vancouver November did not win me over. the feel of English Bay, and this little moment of blue sky while enjoying Ron Terada, did.

but still, it’s good to be home.

i think this is my favourite time of year. i love walking bo and smelling the woodsmoke coming from chimneys, the crunchy brown leaves under my feet crushed into dust and brittle stems by all the steps before and after mine.
