I was asked earlier this year to come up with some ideas for a “trailer” for a new novel by Ann-Marie MacDonald – Adult Onset. I approached the project like I would any short film. What did I want to say? And how do I engage the viewer? The promotional aspect was new. I wanted to communicate the feeling of the novel, and give a hint of the content. I also wanted to make the most of Ann-Marie’s public persona and recognizable voice.
