Here’s a little video that cinematographer Daniel Grant, editor Andrew Kines and I put together – documenting a location scout of sorts for Early Birds. We were searching for feelings as much as physical spaces.

So we got up early one morning and journeyed out to the edges of the city, perching on the shore of the lake, drifting through the canopied ravines. We didn’t know what we were looking for, but this is what we found….
